What is Tricking Gymnastics?
Tricking gymnastics, commonly referred to simply as “tricking,” is an athletic discipline that combines movements from gymnastics, martial arts, tumbling, and acrobatics.
Unlike traditional gymnastics, which is highly structured and uses standardized apparatus or routines, tricking emphasizes creativity, individuality, and personal expression through freestyle movements.
The key elements are kicks, flips, transitions and combos.

Our popular Tricking classes
We hold a separate class for adults and children. Both are open to all ability levels including beginners. Classes run at Brunswick Park School, Camberwell.

Tricking is a dynamic discipline that blends elements of martial arts, gymnastics, and breakdancing. It involves performing acrobatic moves such as flips, kicks, and twists in creative combinations. Tricking emphasizes individual expression and the seamless integration of various movement styles.
We offer a free taster session in the kids class before your enrol. If you book a free taster session you will be automatically offered a space in the class. We don't offer a taster session in the adults session as it's Pay As You Go.
Yes, annual membership is required for the kids class. Membership lasts for 12 months and includes membership to British Gymnastics and insurance cover.
The adults class doesn't require annual membership.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion but isn't too loose. Shorts or leggings paired with a t-shirt are ideal. It's important to tie up long hair and remove all jewelry before class. Tricking is practiced barefoot to ensure safety and proper technique.
We ask that parents and carers stay outside of the training area during children's classes. This is for safety reasons and we find children concentrate better when there are less people in it. You can view the class through the doors and windows of the waiting area.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include an 8-meter by 8-meter inflatable tricking floor, two tumble tracks, and a 12-meter fast track. These features provide a safe and dynamic environment for practicing various tricking movements and combinations.
