Years Experience
Established in 2012 as Southwark Gymnastics Club, with a vision for affordable gymnastics for everyone in our local community of Camberwell. We quickly grew across four venues – two in Camberwell, plus one in London Bridge and Blackheath. As a CIC we are a non-profit organisation dedicated to reinvesting any surplus profits back into the club by way of new equipment, coach education and such like. Read more about us…

Our Coaches
Our coaching team is passionate about gymnastics and sharing their love of the sport. Many of the team started as gymnasts themselves here at Synergy before developing their leadership skills.
We encourage anyone who shows an interest in coaching to undertake coaching courses and assessments with our support. However the process is not easy as we have high expectations from all of our staff.

Common Questions
Gymnastics carries many questions for a lot of people, especially if this is your first time getting involved.
Tiny Gym is great once children are able to walk and is usually the earliest that children attend. Structured Pre-School classes start at two years old (with parent staying) and Gymnastics for All starts at four years old (without parent staying).
For safety and comfort, we recommend a leotard or athletic shorts and a fitted t-shirt. Avoid baggy clothing, jeans, or dresses. Hair should be tied back, and no jewelry should be worn. Bare feet are best for grip and safety.
Yes, we offer a free trial session for any pay monthly class that requires Annual membership. This ensures that you are able be confident before committing to pay.
No problem! Gymnastics for All is designed with beginners in mind and our coaches are experienced in providing tuition for all ability levels. We regularly teach beginners as old as 13 or 14 years old as well as adults trying the sport for the first time.
Gymnastics carries an inherent level of risk due to the nature of the activities. We do everything we can to minimise the risk of injury including safety checks, risk assessments, regular coach training and encouraging gymnasts to learn at their own pace.
If you are looking for a regular weekly class use our parent portal to book a free trial session. After the trial you will be offered a space in the class. If you are looking for a drop in session like Tiny Gym or Adults then head to www.bookwhen.com/synergygym
For regular weekly classes we don't use a waiting list as they become long and frustrating for parents. Instead we offer spaces on a first come first served basis via the parent portal. Drop in sessions like Tiny Gym do have a waiting list. For these sessions you will be notified via email if a space becomes available.
Testimonials
Over the last few years we have worked with thousands of people. Here’s what some of them had to say about us.
Absolutely loved the classes I've done with Synergy Gymnastics. I'm finding the place and the tuition perfect for all levels. When I started out I was very new and unsure of things, and there was a slow helpful pace, and now that I'm better, I can challenge myself and have the support of the coaches to help out on anything I ask for. Nice variety over the different sites too.
Amazing and supportive coaches, great atmosphere and fantastic equipment. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their skills or get into gymnastics for the first time! You won’t regret it!
It’s an amazing organisation teaching kids and adults gymnastics. Friendly staff and loads of programmes.
Synergy Gymnastics is really good, very friendly and helpful staff, central location. (Camberwell Leisure Centre). My experience with the club has being excellent so far.
